For over a decade now, BUTTING has been a key supplier to Tetra Pak, a global market leader in food processing and packaging. The international company from Sweden offers complete solutions and process systems for the production of milk and cheese products, ice creams, beverages and viscous products.
The first contract concerning the delivery of food pipes was signed at Tetra Pak in Lund, Sweden at the end of 2008. Since the following year, BUTTING has been supplying various locations around the world on a regular basis. The pipes comply with the EN 10357 standard, with additional customer-specific requirements for the quality level being implemented. This is how BUTTING has distinguished itself as a key supplier to Tetra Pak over the years.
Gordon Behne, Sales Special pipes, looks back on the longstanding partnership: "It is our declared goal to support the success of our customers and at the same time promote sustainability and quality of life through our corrosion resistant products. Companies like Tetra Pak attach great importance to choosing a trustworthy supplier and prefer stable alliances with established, reliable partners. I am proud that BUTTING is one of them. We will do everything in our power to ensure that we remain a key supplier."
BUTTING has been manufacturing pipes for the food industry for several decades. In order to meet the high expectations of our pipes, we not only strictly adhere to DIN EN 10357 (excerpt from March 2014), but also know how to routinely realise higher demands with regard to special internal and external surfaces and tolerance requirements as well as high quality standards.
In addition to customised production, we stock food pipes in over 20 dimensions from DN 15 to DN 300 in two material grades and two different designs at our main plant in Knesebeck.
