As part of the exercise, an "accident with a forklift" scenario was simulated, which subsequently led to an extension of the situation to a "hazardous goods accident". A total of 133 emergency services with 33 vehicles were involved. The exercise began at 17:10 and ended successfully at 20:42.
Erik Hams, Head of Commercial Services and Fire Safety Officer at BUTTING Könnern, commented immediately after the event: "Today's exercise was both challenging and very informative. I was particularly impressed by the precise and structured approach of everyone involved. Despite the challenging conditions - 30 degrees Celsius and hot and humid weather - all the emergency services, including our own employees, worked together extremely well. I would like to sincerely thank everyone involved, especially the firefighters who dedicated their free time to our safety."
