As part of its own product development work, BUTTING became aware of the specialist in non-destructive testing (ZfP): Hillger NDT. The owner-managed company with currently six employees is based in Braunschweig. Thomas Schüller, Managing Director of BUTTING in Knesebeck, explains: "We took the opportunity: the company was facing a generational change. The regional relationship, the many years of experience and the innovative power convinced us, so we decided to integrate the firm into the BUTTING Group".
Hillger NDT is a recognised partner for innovative solutions and testing tasks in the field of non-destructive tests. The Brunswick-based company has been developing and selling imaging ultrasonic testing systems for 35 years. The focus here is on aerospace technology.
As an independent company within the BUTTING Group, Hillger NDT will be an upstream development unit for our production and quality assurance in the future. Thomas Schüller: "We were able to acquire additional expertise so that we can strengthen and support our internal specialists on research and development issues. Our vision is to extend Hillger NDT's innovative power to more non-destructive testing procedures".
