The virtual annual conference of the German Society for Non-Destructive Testing (DGZfP) – one of the most important conferences in the field of non-destructive testing (NDT) in the DACH region – will take place from 10 to 11 May. Hillger NDT, a member of the BUTTING Group, will also be in attendance with two specialist presentations on product innovations in the field of ultrasonic testing technology.
"Our new USPC 3073 FlexPac low-frequency ultrasonic testing system offers 48 parallel channels, enabling fast data acquisition without multiplexing," explains Dr.-Ing. Artur Szewieczek, Managing Director of Hillger NDT. Each channel is individually electronically controlled and can be operated either as a transmitter, receiver or in pulse-echo mode. The Hillgus measuring software is used for operation and control. The findings can be analysed with Hillger's Oculus software or your own tools.
USBUS signifies a new family of powerful and affordable ultrasound systems for research, development and education. Last year, the Braunschweig-based company already brought the USBUS 4000 AirTech onto the market. The product is used for non-contact, manual material testing with ultrasound. The innovation lies in its new connectivity feature – the single-channel test device is equipped with a USB port and can be operated from the customer's computer. Further variants of the product will now be offered. The aim is to test individual material types even more selectively.
"We are pleased to present these product innovations at the DGZfP annual conference," emphasises Dr Szewieczek.
For 35 years, Hillger NDT has been developing, manufacturing and distributing special ultrasonic imaging test systems and is known for its innovative solutions in the field of NDT. Experts in non-contact material testing, the company joined the BUTTING Group in 2019 and shared its extensive know-how in the field of quality control through NDT.
