The focus of the all-day event was on the practice-based exchange of experience. More than 30 guests from all over Germany accepted the invitation to visit Lower Saxony. In a number of lectures, current developments in the field of a variety of testing techniques were presented and discussed in the plenary sessions: from wood testing using ultrasound to testing with microwaves.
Dr Hillger showed his pride at the response to the event: "With Hillger NDT, we have been successful in the market for ultrasound imaging testing technology for more than 35 years. It is certainly a worthy occasion to thank our customers, partners and employees, but also BUTTING for its trust."
The takeover of the owner-managed company by BUTTING last year should ensure and maintain this continuity. "It is a personal concern of mine to maintain the trust of our long-term partners and to pass on our experience to the next generation," explains Dr Hillger. He introduced Dr-Ing. Szewieczek as the new managing director of Hillger NDT. "Our cooperation in recent years has created a basis of trust. That's why I'm sure: With Dr-Ing. Szewieczek, we have found an experienced leader who will continue to run the company as I would myself." Dr-Ing. Szewieczek adds: "Our common goal is to continue to drive the company forward in the coming decades, to develop it and to expand it in the medium term. In addition to extending our product range, we will expand our cooperation with our known and new partners."
The guests said goodbye to their hosts visibly satisfied and came to a unanimously positive conclusion.
Hillger NDT is an upstream development unit within the BUTTING Group for our production and quality assurance in the field of non-destructive testing. For over 35 years, the Braunschweig-based company has been developing and selling ultrasound imaging testing systems. The focus is currently on aerospace technology.
