Fundraising campaign: 5.440 euros for the local hospice

This year, a total of 5.440 euros was donated to the nearby hospice at BUTTING's annual general meeting in Knesebeck.

Following the review of the past financial year, the traditional staff party took place after the meeting. As in previous years, donations were once again collected for a good cause.
This year's aim was to support the local hospice, whose dedicated employees make an important contribution to society. The donation cheque was handed over in the presence of the hospice's deputy head of nursing and its head of social services. Elke Mann, organiser of the event at BUTTING, presented the cheque to the two representatives in a moving moment.

"This donation emphasises how much the work at the hospice is appreciated and what a difference a joint commitment can make", explained deputy head of nursing services Meike Drehlich during the handover.
According to the hospice, the amount raised will support a bed for a guest for six months. While 95% of the hospice's services are covered by health insurance, the remaining 5% must be financed by donations - an aspect that further emphasises the importance of this social commitment.

A subsequent tour of the hospice also gave the participating BUTTING employees an impressive impression of the welcoming and warm atmosphere in the facility. The lovingly designed rooms illustrate how the hospice offers not only medical but also emotional support.
Elke Mann is visibly proud: "This campaign shows once again that BUTTING attaches great importance to social responsibility as well as economic goals and actively contributes to improving the quality of life in our region. And our employees also live this commitment."
