Eight company teams from the district took part in this year's company football tournament. Numerous visitors experienced exciting games and thanks to many attractions, they were able to spend an entertaining day at the Knesebeck sports field. The prize pot at the wheel of fortune was filled with over 200 prizes, which were provided by 24 companies from the region especially for this event. BUTTING increased the revenue from the Wheel of Fortune and the entry fee paid by the participating teams up to a total of 1,500 euros and is using this money to support people in difficult situations at the “Moin, Moin” day centre in Gifhorn.
Since 1991, this day-entre has been providing help to people who are no longer able to help themselves: this allows them to stay in a protected environment, supplies them with hot meals and arranges further assistance.
Andrea Kiel adds: “BUTTING is a very traditional company. It is also part of our tradition to promote social projects to help people with difficult circumstances in life.”
