At the previous meetings of the participating companies there were, among other things, various lectures on the topics of photovoltaics, electromobility, heating systems and lighting. In addition, an information event on funding and financing opportunities is to be held. Subsequently, individual advice and support for the companies will be provided by experts on site. The goals of the corporate network are to increase energy efficiency, reduce CO2 emissions and take climate protection and sustainability measures.
"In future, BUTTING will develop and implement targeted measures with the aim of sustainably increasing energy efficiency," says BUTTING's Energy Management Officer, Stefan Dammann.
BUTTING introduced an Energy Management System in 2012 to monitor energy consumption, identify potential savings and increase efficiency, and received certification for this three years later in accordance with DIN ISO EN 50001.
The federal government plans to set up around 500 of these energy efficiency networks by the end of 2020. The participating companies can learn from each other and work together to achieve a more sustainable, innovative positioning of the individual companies.
