"Zukunftgeber" literally means "future giver" and is an award given to particularly attractive employers in the Brunswick-Wolfsburg region. The family business in Knesebeck recently completed the practical auditing process and successfully demonstrated its strengths as an employer. Hermann Butting, owner of the BUTTING Group, is clearly proud of this achievement: "It’s not just that the award certifies that we have attractive working conditions – the auditing process was also an excellent opportunity to gain new impetus and increase our attractiveness as an employer for future generations too."
The seventh-generation owner was particularly pleased that "we received top marks in eight categories. This reflects the wide range of benefits available to our employees." The BUTTING Group’s main plant also impressed the auditors in the following categories: nutrition and health, attractive earning opportunities, family friendliness, staff development and qualifications, innovation, communication and transparency, open spaces and comfort, as well as sense of responsibility.
„As a family-owned company that has been in business for over 240 years, we are aware of our responsibility to our customers and employees. We invest in a successful future in many units. Production methods, products, processes, digitalization. And of course in our employees! This also includes being an attractive employer for our employees. That is our goal and what we are continuously striving for," explains Hermann Butting. "We have been setting new standards for a long time when it comes to stainless steel and, as a family business, together we are strong for our employees! That's why we have launched an initiative to increase and communicate our attractiveness as an employer under the heading 'Real Strengths'."
