As part of a training course for welding foremen, welding instructors and welding specialists, the SLV visited the BUTTING factory premises in Knesebeck under the direction of Dipl. Ing. Joachim Lehmann.
The focus for the participants was an insight into the production of chrome-nickel pipes. "The opportunity to follow the pipe production lines, the welding process and the subsequent tests up close was a particular highlight for the participants," reports Joachim Lehmann. Another highlight was the insight into the wide range of products at BUTTING. "The stainless steel pipe is just the starting material for plant construction in Knesebeck," explained Kai Dennis Engler, Team Leader Welding Technology, to his colleagues during the tour. BUTTING has extensive technical know-how in this area and is able to implement the most complex customer requirements.
It's no wonder that everyone involved returned to Hanover satisfied and with lots of new information in their luggage. "The visit was a complete success, we received a lot of praise from all sides for the tour and the supporting program," Engler and Lehmann reported unanimously.
BUTTING - more than pipes - for a better quality of life
