Hermann Butting also made clear that the family business valued well-trained employees, learning every day. He expected curiosity, hard work and reliability from the new apprentices. At the same time, he encouraged them to take advantage of the new stage of their lives, and face up to the new challenges in a brave and authentic manner. The opening ceremony was rounded off by brief addresses by the trainers and vocational school teachers about their own personal development.
The new arrivals and their family members then spent two hours finding out about production and the products of the stainless steel processor. During the first week, the apprentices will get to know the family business in greater detail. Here the focus is on working in a team and getting to know one another. In-house training sessions, informative talks and a works rally will make the transition to the new stage of their lives easier.
On the same day, eight young people began their training as systems mechanics at BUTTING Anlagenbau in Schwedt. Thus BUTTING will be training a total of 146 apprentices in ten different professions throughout Germany.
