New sales organization

BUTTING in Knesebeck looks towards the future with changes in the sales organization. Intensive customer analysis formed the basis of the change process in sales. The aim of the restructuring was to develop a sales organization which will allow the pipe manufacturer and stainless steel processor to continue to inspire its existing customers in future, and to acquire new customers. In the process, we took account of the changed framework conditions on the market, and also of the specific demands of customer sectors.

To achieve these aims and at the same time to design sales processes to be more customer-oriented, we have redefined our focuses in relation to specific products. In future, sales will be organised in four groups, under Managing Director Norbert Heinzle:

  • Spools & plant construction
    Head of Sales Marcel Bartels
  • Corrosion resistant pipes
    Head of Sales Jörg Pollmann
  • Special pipes & components
    Head of Sales Peter Franz


Norbert Heinzle is confident: "The new sales organization will allow us to continue to impress our customers with our quality of service – in line with our mission statement."

The restructuring was implemented at the end of July, the teams were reshaped and the office moves were undertaken. The allocation of staff to the sales departments can be found here.
